This was a home that needed something to finish off the front of the home. We worked with the homeowners ideas & drew up a few different plans, & the one that was selected finished off the front of the house perfectly! The front of the house went through a complete transformation, & added great curb appeal to the home, & also gives them a nice place to enjoy a summer evening!
The removal of an interior wall & continuing the hardwood floor into the former office/study opened up this room to allow for a nice formal dining room, & makes the home feel much classier. We also laid hardwood in the kitchen floor as well, to replace all the old vinyl that was there. (Electrical & HVAC had to be rerouted for this project as well)
This was an old farmhouse that had sat vacant for a few years, & needed structural restoration as well as misc. updating throughout. One of the basement foundation walls was caving in, & the kitchen addition had sunk due to termites eating the bandboard! We supported the side the house, tore down the foundation wall & built a new cinder block wall to set the house back on, and replaced the bandboard in the kitchen area to stabilize everything again. Misc. drywall work, plumbing, electrical, floor sanding & painting were done throughout as well.
