This barn had a leak in the roof for a number of years that deteriorated the main structural beams, and caused the roof to sink down, walls to push out, and a lot of the flooring had to be replaced as well. This project was a challenge for us, and we enjoy challenges! We used rough cut lumber from a local mill in Harrisonburg to replicate the old beams and framing members in the barn, and also put on new tin on the leanto roof that was leaking as well.
